Elders Department
The Head Elder collaborates closely with the pastoral team to provide spiritual leadership, oversee worship services, and support the congregation's spiritual growth. Responsibilities include mentoring other elders, facilitating member care, and ensuring the church's mission aligns with biblical principles.
Clerks Department
The Head Clerk maintains accurate church records, including membership data, board minutes, and official correspondence. This role ensures compliance with Ontario Conference reporting standards and supports the church's administrative functions.
Adventurer Ministry
The Adventurer Ministry is designed to assist parents or legal guardians in their important responsibility as a child’s primary teacher and evangelizer. Adventurer children (ages 4-9) are involved in various learning activities that help them develop physically, mentally, socially, and spiritually.
Community Service Department
This organization gathers and prepares clothing, food and other supplies for those in need and works in community outreach. It focuses on identifying needs and responding with services based on these specific needs. Examples are educational seminars, community development, visiting, counseling, and other services relevant to the community.
Our Food Bank
We operate a food bank every Thursday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, serving those in need within the Etobicoke area. As a member of the Daily Bread Food Bank network, we provide essential support to the community.
Adventist Youth (AY) Ministry
AY Ministry engages youth and young adults in spiritual growth, leadership development, and community service. Programs include Bible studies, social events, and mission projects, fostering a vibrant faith experience.
Communication Department
Responsible for internal and external communications, this department manages the church's digital presence, bulletins, and public relations, ensuring consistent messaging aligned with denominational beliefs and practices.
Children’s Ministry
Children's Ministries is 'Care Driven'. It is our mission to forge connection, collaboration and communication with the children and families within the Ontario Conference. Children’s Ministries wants to bridge the divide between the conference and the local church and their respective communities.
Education Department
This department promotes Christian education by supporting Adventist schools and facilitating educational programs within the church, aligning with the Ontario Conference's educational objectives.
Culinary Department
The Culinary Department prepares nutritious meals for church events, emphasizing healthful living and hospitality. This team supports fellowship and outreach through food service.
Family Life Ministry
The objective of family ministries is to strengthen marriage and the family. The family was established by divine creation with marriage at its center. As the primary setting in which values are learned and the capacity for close relationships with God and others is developed, its health is vital to the Church’s mission.
Greeters Department
Greeters provide a warm welcome to all attendees, fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity and belonging, essential for a vibrant church community.
Deacons Department
The Head Deacon leads in maintaining the church's physical operations, assisting with services, and supporting members' needs, ensuring a smooth worship experience.
Deaconess Department
The Head Deaconess coordinates care ministries, including visitations and support during life events, embodying the church's nurturing spirit.
Health Ministry
We minister to those who are ill and attempt to prevent the development of disease through effective health education, promoting a balanced, healthy diet, adequate rest and regular exercise. We promote physical, mental, and spiritual health.
Interest Coordinator
The Interest Coordinator connects with visitors and Bible study interests, facilitating their integration into church life and spiritual growth pathways.
Master Guide Ministry
The Master Guide Ministry intends to prepare baptized members (ages 16 and older) for leadership roles in the Adventurer, Pathfinder, and Youth ministries of the Church. It seeks to empower Christ-like leaders through effective training and to deploy them for service.
Men’s Ministry
Men’s Ministry fosters spiritual growth among men through fellowship, mentorship, and service projects, encouraging them to lead in their families and communities.
Music Department
Enhancing worship through music, this ministry involves choirs, instrumentalists, and soloists, aiming to uplift and inspire the congregation during services.
Pathfinder Ministry
The Pathfinder Ministry provides for the all-round development of youth ages 10 to 15. They enjoy the benefits of learning crafts, living healthy lives, engaging in fun activities and meeting new friends. They participate in a variety of activities including camporee, camping, hiking, outreach programs, recreation and sports, leadership training, and many more.
Personal Ministry
This ministry equips members for evangelism and discipleship, organizing Bible studies, outreach programs, and training sessions to share the gospel effectively.
Prayer Ministry
Focusing on intercessory prayer, this ministry organizes prayer meetings, chains, and events, fostering a culture of prayer within the church community.
Prison Ministry
This ministry reaches out to incarcerated individuals, offering spiritual support, Bible studies, and hope, reflecting Christ's message of redemption.
Sabbath School Department
The Sabbath School, the primary religious education program of the Church, has four purposes: study of the Scripture, fellowship, community outreach, and world mission emphasis. The Sabbath School Bible study guide is distributed for all age levels.
Junior Sabbath School
This role focuses on the spiritual education of children and youth during Sabbath School, using interactive lessons to instil biblical principles.
Safety Department
Ensuring the safety of all church attendees, this department develops emergency plans, conducts drills, and maintains a secure environment for worship and events.
Seniors Ministry
Dedicated to the well-being of senior members, this ministry offers fellowship, support, and programs that address their spiritual and social needs.
Spiritual Guardian Leader
The Spiritual Guardian provides oversight for the church's spiritual growth in relation to new believers and ensures that they are paired with a spiritual guardian who will help to guide them on their new walk with God.
Stewardship Ministry
The Stewardship Ministry educates and inspires members to manage their time, talents, treasure, and temple (health) for God’s glory. Rooted in biblical principles and supported by Ontario Conference initiatives, this ministry encourages financial literacy, tithing, and personal responsibility. Through workshops, testimonies, and personal coaching, members are empowered to live purposefully, giving cheerfully and sacrificially as an expression of worship and trust in God’s provision. Stewardship is more than money—it’s a lifestyle of discipleship.
Technical Department
The Technical Department is responsible for all audio-visual and digital systems that support worship, evangelism, and communication. From managing livestreams and sound during services to maintaining projection systems and producing digital content, this ministry ensures the message of Christ is delivered with clarity and excellence. In line with the Ontario Conference’s digital mission strategies, the team also assists with hybrid ministry efforts, supporting in-person and online worship experiences that expand the church’s reach.
Women’s Ministry
Women’s Ministry provides a nurturing space where women of all ages are encouraged to deepen their relationship with Christ and one another. Through prayer groups, Bible studies, empowerment workshops, retreats, and service projects, women are equipped to meet life’s challenges with faith and purpose. This ministry is aligned with the Ontario Conference Women’s Ministries’ mandate to uplift, resource, and mobilize women for leadership in the church, home, and community. It also plays a vital role in mentoring younger women and fostering intergenerational connections.
Social Department
The Social Department plans and facilitates activities that strengthen the bonds of fellowship among members. Whether through potlucks, game nights, seasonal celebrations, or outreach socials, this ministry provides opportunities for members and guests to interact in joyful, wholesome environments. The goal is to build a welcoming and inclusive church culture, where Christian relationships flourish and visitors feel connected. Social events also serve as an effective bridge between church and community, offering a friendly introduction to the body of Christ.
